All of our "Archers Chess"© chessboards are superbly hand crafted out of solid domestic and exotic hardwoods, and are designed to last for centuries. Each board has a 10x10 square, "Archers Chess"© board on the topside, with an inlay in the trim to match your chess pieces(either boxwood and rosewood or boxwood and ebony). On the other side of the board we have inlaid a matching border(rosewood or ebony) to give you an 8x8 square regular chessboard. We doubt you will see this side very often. Also, all our boards have been individually numbered for easy reference as to ownership and details of each boards combination of woods etc. We do not use any veneers or stains in the construction and finish of our boards, as we believe in the solid natural beauty of our chosen woods.

We build all of our solid wood chessboards, and wall mounts in Parkhill, Ontario. We hand turn each "Merlin™" and "Longbow™" here as well. All of the rest of our chess pieces are imported from India.
